This quarter is looking awfully busy for me. I’m not quite sure whether I’ll be able to keep up at all times, but at least I will try hard. In particular, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are very busy. The other four days are significantly easier for me. I still can’t count 168 hours a week of scheduled activities yet, however.

Now I have bureaucratic problems. The people at the registrar’s office won’t let me into algebra because it’s full. Fortunately, Yakimov told me he’ll try to increase the maximum size for the class so that I can get in.

I should get back to writing a fugue now.

About Simon

Hi. I'm Simon Rubinstein-Salzedo. I'm a mathematics postdoc at Dartmouth College. I'm also a musician; I play piano and cello, and I also sometimes compose music and study musicology. I also like to play chess and write calligraphy. This blog is a catalogue of some of my thoughts. I write them down so that I understand them better. But sometimes other people find them interesting as well, so I happily share them with my small corner of the world.
